My fable

This fable i did it in group with Cami Kos, Pily Rodriguez and Mati Viana. Roodolf went to see his best friend Susan. he was in love with her. when he saw her there, he started to talk to Susan and Susan interrupted him and asked him: “Roodolf did you ask Michael, your father, if you can come to see me?” and Roodolf answer: “no, I told him that I would go to the supermarket to buy milk”. Susan was worried. Michael, worried because his son did not return from the supermarket. he started searching him, then he think that by looking in the supermarket he would find him but he did not found nothing, Michael was really worried.

La ultima hora es infernal, interminable los chicos gritan, las chicas festejan, la maestra silenciosa, pero alegre, espera. Mis oídos atentos, al afuera, que espera, mi ansiedad crece y mis pies con deseos de correr. La puerta que se abre, la libertad que me espera.

Psicosis: cronica policial.

Este es un trabajo en word hecho por mi y por mi compañero valentin hernan y aca esta nuestro trabajo: Psicosis: Crónica policial. 1.Elegir un fragmento de la película para transformarlo en un artículo periodístico. Dueño de motel asesina a ladrona y detective privado. La primera victima se llamaba Marion Crane que robo 400.000 USD, fue asesinada por el dueño del motel. La segunda víctima era el Sr. Arbogast, quien fue a investigar y lo asesinó. Marion Crane (víctima y empleada de una empresa) roba 400.000 USD que debía depositar en el banco. Su jefe la vio cuando se escapaba con el dinero. Pasó la noche en la banquina de la ruta, en su auto. El oficial Johnson le pide la licencia de conducir y los papeles que confirman que el auto es suyo. Johnson la siguió hasta la feria de autos donde cambió su auto por otro 4.000 USD mas caro luego siguió con su destino (se hospedó en el motel de Norman Bates). Siete días después se reportó su desaparición. El jefe de Marion contrata a un detective privado, el señor Arbogast, para averiguar donde esta el dinero. También desaparece luego de haber llamado a Lila Crane, la hermana de Marion, para avisarle que iba a volver al motel porque no estaba satisfecho con la información que tenia. Lila y Sam (el novio de Marion) van a investigar al motel. Se salvaron de ser asesinados por Norman y descubrieron cuatro crímenes: el crimen de la señora Bates (la madre de Norman) y su amante, los asesinó envenenándolos y dejándolos muertos en la cama (según el psiquiatra policial fue por celos) y su vida se convirtió en una doble personalidad, una mitad era el y la otra mitad su madre (asesina), el se sintió atraído y excitado por Marion y su “madre” la asesinó cuando se bañaba. El llegó y limpió todas las evidencias y la metió en el baúl de su auto, con el dinero y su valija, finalmente lo arrojó todo al pantano. Luego Arbogast fue a investigar y le dijo a Norman si podía pasar a hablar con su madre y Norman no lo dejó. Volvió y no vio a Norman cerca entonces la fue a buscar y la “madre” lo asesinó brutalmente y lo arrojó al pantano al igual que Marion. Luego fue atrapado y encerrado en una institución mental. Fueron hallados los cadáveres con el dinero.

En este trabajo les hablo sobre un articulo del diario clarin sobre un medicamento que puede salvar al mal de chagas.

Tratarán el mal de Chagas con un medicamento hecho en el país

Podrán consumirlo todos los habitantes de América; el medicamento se produce en el país desde 2012.

  

 

La vinchuca es la causante del mal de Chagas. 

Los pacientes que sufren de mal de Chagas en América podrán tratarse con un medicamento hecho por primera vez en la Argentina. Esta posibilidad tiene lugar luego de que la Organización Panamericana de la Salud aprobara su inclusión en el fondo rotatorio por el cual los gobiernos de todo el continente hacen compras de tratamientos a menor precio, según publica en su edición de hoy el diario Clarín.

De acuerdo con las precisiones que brinda el artículo, la enfermedad es propia de América, pero con las migraciones ya se encuentran personas afectadas en otras regiones del mundo, como Europa y Oceanía: hay 8 millones de infectados, según estimó la Organización Mundial de la Salud. El problema es que menos del 1% de los infectados se trata con el medicamento benznidazol, según comentó Sonia Tarragona, directora ejecutiva de la Fundación Mundo Sano.

El medicamento en cuestión es el benznidazol, que debe ser dado cuanto antes, una vez diagnosticada la enfermedad. Ocurre que había sido discontinuado por problemas en la producción masiva a cargo de un laboratorio en Brasil. Recién en 2012, l a producción se inició en la Argentina mediante una alianza público-privada, que incluye al Ministerio de Salud de la Nación, la Fundación Mundo Sano y las empresas Maprimed y el laboratorio farmacéutico ELEA. De esta manera, la Argentina se convirtió en el único proveedor del medicamento para Chagas en el mundo.

Sobre esta novedad, Sergio Sosa Estani, director del Instituto Nacional de Parasitología Dr. Fatala Chabén dependiente del Ministerio de Salud, sostuvo que "la disponibilidad de este medicamento es clave para que los programas nacionales puedan avanzar en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de los pacientes".

"The day the mountain blew apart"

In the class of Language through literature, with the teacher Victoria Gregov, we read and did activities of the story "The day the mountain blew apart" and so i will talk about that story. Well this story is a Historical Narrative because this truely happened, the people that appears in the story, the things that happens in the story, examples of historical narrative are "Titanic", "The twin towers" etc.

The story happens the 18 of may of 1980, the mount St. Helens erupted and killed a government scientist (David Johnston), fifty-seven people died, all was burned. All the plants and animals of the forest were dead and so on the oxygen was intoxicated so all the persons were inside their houses and the people called the mount "The ghost town". Gophers helped because they brought the rich soil up to the surface and helped the plants to grow and another thing that helped the plants to grow was the bones of the elks. The forest will have to wait a hundred years to grow as it were before the eruption.Here i have an image of the mount saint Helen eruptioning:

In my opinion this was a catastrophe and a lot of people died but is an interesant story.

Letter of writing

Dear Doctor Johnson: Hello, i am Martha Provoletta. Doctor, I am writing to you because my contractions are bigger and bigger. The other day I went to the bathroom and I fell. I bumped my head with the toilet and I vomit a lot. I started to cry and my husband phoned for an ambulance. The ambulance came. It was Wednesday. They left me in hospital for a week. Today is the seventh day, the last one. Today I can go home but at night, so I want to see you tomorrow, at 8 o’ clock. I hope you can see me tomorrow. I am desperate to know how my little baby is.v Please doctor, phone me if you can seeme or I phone another doctor. Yours sincerely. Martha Provoletta

Setting: Willie’s house and the City of Technos.

At Rise Willie`s mother turns on the wave amplifier, because she wants to know what is that thing that do so much light.

Mother: Oh! It`s a wave amplifier. (she looks very scared and surprised and turns  on the wave amplifier)

Shannon: (at “Technos”) Guys, look! Willie’s mother turns  on the wave amplifier!(Peter, Mike ad Shannon,  run to save themselves and  search Willie and Ginny)

Peter: Willie! Your mother turned  on the wave amplifier, we can escape now. ( Peter is running and is searching Willie)

Ginny: Peter! I don`t know where is Willie, I can`t find him (scared and excited, she starts shouting)

Supreme technocrat: You don`t go to anywhere(supreme technocrat and commanders put the guys into a cage)

Willie: Boys I’m here!(in a low voice) Shhh! I heard you Shannon, saying that my mother turned  on the wave amplifier(the boys heard him) I` m going home to think an idea of  how I can  save you, without getting catch me(he go running to the wave amplifier  to avoid being catch by the commands, bites and the Supreme Technocrat)

Ginny, Peter, Mike and Shannon: Ok,Ok! Please then come for us.( excited, they become happy)They are going to take out our brains and minds and finally kill us. HURRY UUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!

Bits: They aren`t going  out from here, so don`t return! (Saying to Willie)

Ginny:  Now  I` m thinking ,when the bits and us talk with Willie, he had already gone out!(disappointed) Because he didn`t answer us.(crying)

Mike: Don`t worry Ginny, Willie is a very good person and he has never disappointed us.(Bits are hearing them and started to laugh  JA JA JA).

Supreme Technocrat: Your behavior is very bad so we are going to wait your friend Willie, so he can`t save you and then I`m going to take out your minds and I’m going to eat them .( he sees them with a scary face and the children get afraid.And the Supreme Technocrat get funny)

Ginny: (in a low voice) See! The commanders and the bits are having a conversation with the Supreme Technocrat and I can hear them. The commanders and the bits say to the Supreme Technocrat that they aren`t going to take out our brains, if they can`t eat each of our brains.(Ginny and the children see nervous)

Commanders and Bits: We can make a deal (saying for the Supreme Technocrat) we can take their brains, but if we eat one half and you the other half.

Supreme Technocrat: If you do the deal, I will cut your heads (immediately the Supreme Technocrat get around and go to his office)

The bits: Commanders! We have an idea, we kill the Supreme Technocrat and then we eat him and we do the children our slaves. (They put a smile devilish)

Commanders: we think that it`s okay, but the Supreme Technocrat is very important here and without him we can`t do anything.

Shannon:  Maybe the commanders and the bits don`t kill us because I heard the conversation between them. The topic is that the bits and the commanders want to kill the Supreme Technocrat. But then they are going to make us slaves . We have to make a deal with them.(Peter, Mike and Ginny nodded with the head) My deal is: we say to the commanders and  bits that we are going to help them to kill the Supreme Technocrat, with one condition, that they help us to escape from here.

Mike: Commanders come! Bits come!( the commanders and the bits went from there) we want to do a deal with you, it consist in helping you to kill the Supreme Technocrat and you allow us to go home from the wave amplifier.(the commanders and bits are saying that they are excited) And you can`t kill ours friends.

Commanders and bits:  Well , we think that is a good idea, and we won`t  eat yours minds.

Mike, Shannon, Peter and Ginny: But you can  eat the Supreme Technocrat`s mind.(the commanders go  to take out them of the cage and they are going to kill the Supreme Technocrat)

Ginny: So, is it a deal?

Commanders and Bits: Yes, it is a deal(at this moment the commanders and bits see to the lights of the wave amplifier and from there Willie go out)

Peter: Oh! Willie you return!

Willie: Yes of course! I said you that I’m going to return and I come.

 Ginny: We made a deal  with the commanders and the bits (she tells him the deal)

Willie: Ok! I like the deal, but I don`t be sure if they are going to respect the deal.

Shannon: Yes, Willie is saying something true.

Commanders and Bits: NO! don`t` worry, we are going to respect the deal, we promise you.(all the commanders and bits see into their selves)

Peter: Ok we wish it! Because if you don`t you are going to have a lot of problems with us, when we did the deal we make it sure.

Commanders and bits: Yes, of course it is a good deal.  ( they go to the office of the Supreme Technocrat to kill him, Mike  takes a knife and……)

Mike:  But are you thinking about what are we doing?

The commanders: Yes, it’s a deal so you have to do it. It’s the same if you want it or not.

Ginny: yes mike, if we kill him we will finish with all this.

Mike: ok, I’m going to do it.(Mike takes the knife and kills the Supreme technocrat)

Willie: What are you doing?

Ginny: We did the deal so “now” you have to do your part. (The Commanders and Bits see him or them with a strange face)

The bits: Well, it’s okay. But we will not let you go, only one of you can go.

Peter: But you promise that you are going to respect the deal!

The Commanders: You now that we aren’t very just but really we are being very just because one of you can go home “now”.

Ginny: But it was not what we had accorded to do. (At the moment Willie hits them).

The Commanders and Bits: What are you doing?(very angry). Now anyone of you can return home. We are going to eat your minds and then we are going to send your bodies to your parents and when they see you they will be very sad. (The children are crying)

Willie: So, we can’t go home and if we try to do it you will kill us.

The Commanders and Bits: Yes, that’s right. You are going to stay in the cage until the time we decide to take out your minds.

Ginny: What do you win taking out our minds?

The Commanders and Bits: We win food, We need it and we don’t have it.

Willie: If you want we can give you food from our planet.

The commanders and bits: No, thanks. We can’t eat other things, we only can eat human food because to be more intelligent we have to eat human minds(They close the children into the cage and go out.Few minutes later they return) Who wants to be the first?

Shannon: What? (Scared and surprised at the same time).

Commanders and Bits: The first who will be taken the minds.

Peter: You have to choose.

Commanders and Bits: Ok came Shannon (They are preparing all the things).

Shannon: “No, please, no! (She shouts).

Commanders and Bits: Come, don’t do this more difficult.

Shannon: What are you going to do with me?

Commanders and Bits: We are going to cut out your head and then take out your minds. But first we cut all the heads: you, Peter, Mike, Ginny, and finally Willie.

Willie: But you are really crazy!

Commanders and Bits: No, we have to eat. (They start to cut Shannon’s head with a knife, Shannon is crying and screaming). 

Ginny: No, please, nooooo! (She shouts).

  Willie: (In low voice) The Commanders and Bits are distracted, I can escape, the wave amplifier is on and they don’t notice that the cage is open.

Ginny: Yes, it’s a good idea, go now! (Willie escape from the cage, he returns to the City of Technos and takes a knife, nobody heard him. Then he comes back, while they are cutting Peter’s head he kills each one of the Commanders and the Bits).

Willie: Hurry up! Take Shannon and Peter and Escape quickly through the Wave amplifier.

Ginny and Mike: Yes, we have to be very fast.

Willie: So let’s go. (The children take Shannon and Peter, go to the wave amplifier and return home).

Shannon and Peter: Thanks, we are safe, but we have our head cut, so we have to go to the hospital, (They went to the hospital, the doctor sewed, and now they are very well).

Shannon, Mike, Peter, Ginny, and Willie: Yes, we finish with all and now we are safe at home. (Obviously they “TURN OFF” the wave amplifier and throw the control into the dustbin).

La tristeza de Juan Había una vez hace no mucho tiempo, un hombre llamado Juan. El era un hombre triste, con una voz suave y distante, pero aun así las personas no se le acercaban porque cuando quería algo era muy insistente y tampoco se le acercaban porque era muy fácil de darse cuenta cuando el estaba triste, porque su voz se ponía arraigada y sus tristes ojos se ponían oscuros como la noche. Fin.

El Regalo de Navidad del Chaparral: Johnny Mc Roy o el Frío Kid

“El Regalo de Navidad del Chaparral” El personaje que voy a elegir va a ser Johnny Mc Roy. Johnny es un asesino que estaba enamorado de Rosita la futura esposa de Madison Lane. Johnny cumple la función de ser el “Malo de la película”. Johnny Mc Roy era un personaje que estaba loco de celos y por sobre todo de amor por Rosita. Era un asesino que cometió muchos crímenes ( en total 18, 9 fueron por peleas con sus enemigos y la otra mitad fueron por puro capricho o crueldad) el no tenía sentimientos por eso adopto el apodo de “El Frío Kid”. Yo pienso que el personaje no tiene toda la culpa que el es una buena persona, bien en el fondo, pero no creo que realmente sea una mala persona. Si tuviera que describirlo en una sola palabra sería enamorado porque todas las cosas que hizo fueron por amor y celos hacia Rosita y también un poco fue por venganza hacia Madison Lane.

UNA INVASION REFRESCANTE

Érase una vez, hace 20 años un padre y un hijo dueños de una fabrica de carteles, ellos todas las mañanas iban a Trote a desayunar medialunas con una botella de Canada Dry.

Un día, mientras desayunaban, vieron un destello en el cielo. Era una nave espacial. Ambos corrieron nerviosos a  la fábrica, en cuanto llegaron vieron, escrito en el cielo “SOMOS LOS PAULERS Y VAMOS A CONQUISTARLOS”. Cuando vieron esto corrieron a hacerles un cartel de bienvenida que diga “BIENVENIDOS PAULERS” ,cuando lo colgaron, estaban exhaustos, entonces  tomaron una Canada Dry. El Pauler mas anciano, el líder, lo vio bebiendo la Canada Dry y quiso probar, cuando la probo le gusto tanto que firmaron un acuerdo que decía así: Los Paulers se llevaran 1.000.000 botellas de Canada Dry, cuando se les acaben (en 100 años) volverán por mas y refirmaran este trato, cada vez que vuelvan”.Firmando ese trato Los Paulers se fueron y dejaron en paz a la raza humana.

LOS GRANDES NAUFRAGIOS

Luis Alejandro Velasco

La novela “Relato de un naufrago” de Gabriel García Márquez esta basada en hechos reales y transcurre en el mar cerca de las costas caribeñas en el año 1955, los personajes son Luis Alejandro Velasco, Luis Rengifo, Jaime Manjarres y Mary Adress. En  cambio la película “La vida de Pi” esta narrada en La India en el Océano Pacifico y en Canadá. En el año 1978, los personajes son Piscine Moliteaur Pattel, su padre (appa), su madre (amma), Ravi (su hermano), Jugo de Naranja, la Zebra, Richard Parker, el coyote, el cocinero, el feliz budista, el escritor y el tío de Pi (el de los pulmones llenos de agua).

Las similitudes entre esta novela y esta película en mi opinión son: en ambas ocurre un naufragio, el mar les arrebata a su familia y a sus amigos. En las dos no saben su destino, en ambas se ven obligados a cazar. Los dos sufren tener que ver a tiburones escalofriantes, ambos se atan a la balsa, los dos dan una vuelta con el bote o balsa: Pi por una ballena y Velasco por unas olas y una tormenta. Ambos sufrían muchas heridas y quemaduras, ellos vieron el agua cambiar de color (señal de que están cerca de tierra firme).Ellos llegan sin fuerzas a tierra firme, ambos ven a una persona que se va y luego llega con mas gente para ayudarlo a cargarlo y finalmente los dos son trasladados a un hospital y esas para mi son todas las similitudes.

Las principales diferencias son que Velasco debe matar una gaviota y Pi no, Pi estaba acompañado por Richard Parker y en algunos momentos por otros animales en cambio Velasco naufrago solo y con sus alucinaciones. A Velasco lo llevan a una casa y lo cuidan a Pi no, con Velasco no dejan pasar a reporteros y con Pi si. Esas son para mí todas las diferencias que hay.

Ambos protagonistas (Velasco y Pi) empezaron a valorar a la familia, a la comida, la bebida, los amigos y Pi aprendió que su padre tenía razón, el ser humano para sobrevivir necesita tranquilidad, alegría, amor, salud el calor de una estufa un reproductor musical, un horno, una heladera y las luces. Lo mas importante es que ellos nunca se rindieron.
